Commercial Copywriter

A Commercial Copywriter at Bright Publishing creates content for a wide range of commercial clients with a primary focus in the photographic industry. Specific day-to-day tasks will vary but are likely to include creation of website content, promotional materials and email campaigns.

Desired skills:
  • A minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of working with InDesign and Wordpress.
  • A keen interest or working knowledge of photography would be an advantage.

Account Executive

Features Writer

Due to significant growth, Bright is looking for a full-time features writer to work across three leading publications aimed at professional filmmakers. The features writer will be responsible for planning, commissioning and writing engaging and well-researched editorial features and advertorials across three different magazines, and contributing to digital publications, in collaboration with the editors.

The role also requires representing the magazines at UK and international trade events, so a confident, outgoing personality is essential in liaising with existing and new clients.

A genuine interest in video, filmmaking, broadcast or photography is required. A deep knowledge of current trends and technology in filmmaking and cinematography is not essential but is desirable.

Skills required:
  • Experience as a writer on a print or web publication.
  • Creativity.
  • Basic knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop and CMS.
  • Excellent oral and communication skills.
  • Organisational and planning skills.
  • Interest in videography, film, broadcast or photography.

Creative Designer

We are looking for a creative designer with a strong interest in editorial design to join our fast-paced team of designers. You will be responsible for producing stunning, creative editorial design for an exciting new technology/broadcast magazine. You will additionally work across a range of projects from branding, POS and packaging, to design for web and mobile apps and large-scale advertising campaigns for a blue-chip client.

Skills required:
  • At least 3 years industry experience.
  • First-hand experience of InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • A good eye for typography and detail.
  • Solid understanding of print production and preparing artwork for print.
  • You should be able to produce creative, fresh, innovative and visually appealing solutions for a variety of projects.

Media Sales Executive
